Boag's Draught Pipeline Promotion Terms & Conditions

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.
  2. Entry is open to residents of NSW, ACT & Vic who are 18 years and over. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
  3. To enter:
    • (a) Go to www.boagspipeline.com.au and complete the online entry form; or
    • (b) SMS your current email address to 199 BOAGS (199 26247) and follow link to complete the online entry form. SMS cost is 55 cents including GST. SMS entry is only open to consumers with a compatible mobile phone connected to a service provider which permits premium text messaging to the promotional SMS number. SMS entries submitted via the Internet are not valid and will not be accepted. A return SMS will be sent to each entrant who submits a valid SMS entry to confirm receipt of their entry. Limit applies of one entry per person.
    • To be valid, online entry forms must contain the entrant's preferred venue from the list of participating venues designated by the Promoter ("Venue List").
  4. The promotion commences at [00.01] [EST] on 4/08/2008 and closes at [23.59] [EST] on 28/09/2008 ("Promotional Period"). Eight draws will take place over the duration of the promotion. Each draw will take place on Monday of each week commencing 11/08/08 – 29/09/2008 (inclusive) at 12:00 Noon [EST] at Suite 104, 55 Beach St, Port Melbourne. The first 5 valid entries drawn in each draw will receive a prize as set out in clause 5 and 6 below.
  5. Winners will be entitled to receive $500 or $100 credit towards food and beverages purchased from a participating venue ("Venue Credit"). The 1st valid entry drawn will receive $500 Venue Credit. The next 4 valid entries drawn will receive $100 Venue Credit. Winners of the $500 Venue Credit may only redeem their Venue Credit at the Slipp Inn Sydney CBD, Bridie O'Reilly's South Yarra, Bridie O'Reilly's Melbourne CBD, Bridie O'Reilly's Brunswick, Elephant & Wheelbarrow St Kilda or Elephant & Wheelbarrow Melbourne CBD. Winners of the $100 Venue Credit may redeem their Venue Credit at any venue included in the Venue List. If a winner lives more than 75km from their nearest participating venue, the prize may be given as cash at the absolute discretion of the Promoter. Winners must nominate to the Promoter a date to redeem their Venue Credit. The full value of Venue Credit must be redeemed on the winner's nominated date or will be forfeited by the winner. All Venue Credits must be redeemed by 29/11/2009. Total RRP value of prizes is $7,200.00. All taxes (excluding GST) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Any costs incurred by the winner within the venue for goods or services not covered by the Venue Credit are the sole responsibility of the winner.
  6. Winners will be notified in writing within 2 days of the draw. Victorian winners of prizes over $100 will be published in The Herald Sun on 6/10/2008. All winners will be published on www.boagspipeline.com.au by 6/10/2008.
  7. If necessary, second chance prize draws will be held on 19/01/2009 at the same timeand place as the initial draws in order to distribute any unclaimed prizes.
  8. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. The Promoter's decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if illegitimate, forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.
  9. In the event that any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any written directions from the various lottery authorities.
  10. The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of winners and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion.
  11. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered (even if caused by negligence) as a result of accepting and/or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law ("Loss") and winners (and persons partaking in the prize with the winner) indemnify the Promoter against all such Loss.
  12. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may (where necessary with the approval of the relevant lottery authority) modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the promotion.
  13. Winners (and any persons partaking in the prize with winners) will be refused service of alcohol or provision of alcoholic beverages if it would breach any relevant laws or codes including those relating to the Code of Practice for Responsible Service of Alcohol or a Venue Policy. Winners are advised to consider the safe drinking levels recommended in the Australian Alcohol Guidelines available by following the link to www.alcohol.gov.au.
  14. By submitting an entry, entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (if they are a winner) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
  15. Details from entries will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties, including local lottery authorities, for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for promotional purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant. Entrants may access, change and/or update their personal information and obtain a copy of the Promoter's privacy policy by contacting the Promoter on 1800 308 388 during office hours. Entrants may also elect to "Opt in" and receive further information from the Promoter regarding future promotions.
